Fees and Payment
There is no better investment than personal growth; psychotherapy can enhance your quality of life, relationships, health and well-being. There is no time like the present nor is there a price we can put on our life’s meaning and happiness.
Dr. Winter’s fees are commensurate with her training and experience. Money can bring up unresolved issues; coming to therapy should not be an added stress.
Dr. Winter has standard fees for the following, but will work with you to structure your time in a way that suits your needs. Longer sessions are offered for hypnosis and EMDR.
Individual Therapy | Couples Therapy | Initial Couples Session | Group Therapy | Initial Discernment Session | Ongoing Discernment Session |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
50 minutes | 60 minutes | 75 minutes | 90 minutes | 120 minutes | 90 minutes |
Payment is expected at the time of the visit. Forms of payment include cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and Credit. Credit card information will be kept on file so as to streamline the payment process. Please note that initial sessions, weekend sessions, and sessions longer than one (1) hour require payment prior to the visit to hold the time.
To inquire about fees please call the office.
Insurance
Dr. Winter is in-network only with Medicare. For all others she is considered out-of-network; she will, however, electronically submit your session to your insurance carrier so that you can receive reimbursement directly.
Cancellations
If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment kindly provide 24 hours’ notice. The fee for a session not cancelled prior to 24 hours of the appointment is charged at the full session rate. These sessions cannot be submitted to your insurance. A credit card will be kept on file for this purpose. This policy makes it possible to give your appointment to another patient. Please note that this policy applies, with a time of 48 hours, for sessions scheduled longer than a standard hour.
For a more detailed explanation of office policies please refer to the Patient Services Agreement which is within the Client Intake under the New Patient Information on the website. Note that this website is up to date and may, in certain cases, be more accurate than the forms you will complete.
